GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in exclusive partnership with a leading steel structures company based in Leicestershire recruiting for two experiencedMIG & TIG Welder Fabricators to construct & assemble mild steel & stainless steel parts adhering to the set project specifications / technical drawings. Key duties include: • Reading & working to technical engineering drawings • Cutting / forming materials, grinding, bending using workshop machinery (e.g., press brakes, guillotines & drills) • Fabricating & producing high-quality MIG & TIG welds on mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium • Performing weld quality & dimensional checks against set specifications. • Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on welding torches, gas lines, and fabrication tools. Attributes: • Proven experience in a fabricator welder role, using mild & stainless steel to produce bespoke builds. • Capability to work with and adjust techniques for mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium works. • Current or previous coded welding certifications / time served welder • High attention to detail with the ability to use precision measuring tools • Used to working in a workshop & happy to be workshop based.
