Vehicle Prepper / Trainee Paint Sprayer Location: Gloucester Salary: £28,000 Basic Salary Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm) Looking for a role where you can build a long-term career, develop your skills, and become a fully qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer? The Role As a Vehicle Prepper / Trainee Paint Sprayer, you'll support the paint department by preparing vehicles for refinishing while learning every stage of the paint process. You'll receive hands-on training from experienced technicians, developing the skills needed to become a qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer. Your Responsibilities Prepare vehicles and panels ready for painting. Sand, mask and prime vehicles to a high standard. Assist experienced Paint Sprayers with vehicle refinishing. Learn colour matching and paint mixing techniques. Carry out quality checks before and after painting. Develop your knowledge of modern repair methods and water-based paint systems. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Work closely with the wider bodyshop team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
